BEING THE DIFFERENCE

BEING THE DIFFERENCE
Luke 8:43 And a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years and had spent in doctors all that she had and could not be healed by anyone, 44 came up to Jesus from behind and touched the Edge of his robe, and instantly the flow of his blood ceased. 45 And Jesus said, Who is it that touched me? While they all denied it, Peter said, and those who were with him [t]: Master, the crowds tighten and oppress you. 46 But Jesus said, Someone touched me, because I realized that power had come out of me. 47 When the woman saw that she had not gone unnoticed, she came trembling, and falling down before him, declared in the presence of all the people the reason for which she had touched him, and how he had been immediately healed. 48 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you." Go in peace

We are surrounded by a world that every day wants to consume you more and more, making you participate in its currents and making you believe to some extent that what you do is normal because everyone does. In the Word of the Lord we see how Jesus mentions that we must be the Salt of the Earth, the Light of the world, in short: BEING THE DIFFERENCE.

We see the life of our Lord Jesus Christ and we can analyze how his life is completely different from what the world was accustomed to. He came to give us a model of life, that model that we as Christians (followers or imitators of Jesus) must put into practice.
And is that the enemy is very clever, not for nothing the Bible refers to him as the ancient serpent, he will try to confuse you by making you believe that doing everything the world does nothing happens, that's where the Church today is falling In the error of seeing things in the world as something normal that leads her to participate in things that being sincere and analytical we could realize that she would not have to participate.

God has called us to be different, to show the world that we can live a holy life that is not mixed with the profane, to prove that we are no longer the same as before and that we have proposed in our hearts not to contaminate ourselves with the lies of the enemy. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, the hearts of evil conscience purified, and the bodies washed with pure water.

A well-known preacher in one of his books says a phrase I like very much, I will paraphrase it: "We see the truths of God as if they were lies and the lies of the enemy as if they were true." And is that today it is easy to believe that a certain sin is not because everyone does, believe that walking in places that are not those of a child of God is not bad, because everyone goes there, believe that my vocabulary is normal Because it looks like everyone's, even when people do not differentiate your vocabulary from a person without Christ in their heart and a converted person.

For God's sake, we are doing it! Although it is true that we must go to the world to win others to God, it does not mean that the world wins over us and makes us one of them.
James 4: 8 - Draw near to God, and he will draw nigh unto you. Sinners, clean your hands; And you double-minded, purify your hearts.

It is time for us to wake up and realize that we have been called to BE DIFFERENT, we have been called to testify to the world that Christ can transform the lives of those who seek Him from the heart, we need to stand up and show with our attitudes, our Way of speaking and directing ourselves in the life that we are Christians born again.

Have you proposed in your heart to make the difference in an indifferent world? Let us ask the Lord to place in our hearts a desire and a determination to live each day of our existence remembering that we have been called to make the difference.
Come on! Let's show the world that Christ has changed our lives!

GOOD THINGS

Pastor Eduardo Alves was in a blessed service today at Minisyerios Adoracion church:

Good things
Hebrews 12: 2 2 looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Are you going through a difficult time? Maybe he just lost his job, or is he? Suffering for a loss in your family? Or maybe you just are not sure something good can happen in your life.
Whatever you're going through, I want you to know that you're not alone! And something good can come out of the difficult situation you are in. God has promised.
Jesus also experienced hard times ... the way to the cross was not of little importance, but He had to decide to cross that path. He even asked God if this was really necessary. (But we know how this wonderful love story ends.)
In our daily lives, we have to believe that when we go through difficult times, the result will be good. But when we are suffering, probably one of the most difficult things for us to remember is that God is going to solve it for our good.
The Only One You Can Trust
Romans 8:28 And we know that to those who love God all things work together for good, that is, those who are called according to their purpose is a key scripture for Christians when we go through difficult or disappointing moments . When something does not happen the way we would like it to happen, we can believe that God will solve it for good. To that place you can always return in all kinds of tests.
Now, this does not mean that the tests are necessarily good, but God can make them work for our good because He is awesome.
It's really comforting to believe that things will work out for good ... Even on a day like Good Friday when nothing made sense and everything was difficult, God solved everything for good, bringing the greatest blessing that humanity has received!
We can believe that Friday was good for the result he brought, not because of what happened at the time.
God is a wonderful being! To be able to take the bad things and use them for our good!
I have gone through a very difficult time, I have looked back and I think I would not be even half the person I am now if that had not happened. Many of us have not experienced this? Would not we like to grow alone in good times?
But it seems that we only really grow in difficult times. I believe it is because it is in those moments that we really come to God in our relationship with Him on a deeper level. Why? Because we have to do it. It is our only option if we want to overcome the difficulty. When we trust in God, He will give us the peace of knowing that He can make bad things work for our good.
Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.

Positioning Yourself in God's Greatness

Pastor Eduardo Alves was leading first worship service at Ministerios Adoracion church;

Positioning Yourself in God's Greatness
"God is big enough to take care of your smallest need." You may have lost your hope and think that there is no one who understands your situation. God understands. Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
·
·
· How are you looking at life? Do you see the greatness of God in the midst of it all? Open your heart to the great God who is with you and can take care of your smallest need. May these practical steps help unlock the treasure chest of God inside of you. Apply these tools wholeheartedly and with all diligence in your life:
Philippians 4:6-7New International Version (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
God our Father is the One who has blessed us through the year of 2016. He is the One who will be with us in the year before us—2017. “Every good thing given and every perfect gift” given during the past year has come “from above, coming down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17). The psalmist says it well: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits” (Psalm 103:1-2).

Although each of us has faced sorrow and perhaps even tremendous tragedy during the year behind us, still we can remember God’s blessings and benefits that come to us in abundance. We can also depend on the Lord God to be the same gracious and faithful God He has always been.
As we arrive at the beginning of another year, let us be grateful to God for new opportunities and amazing blessings. We have the opportunity .
§ to begin a brand new year with amazing possibilities
§ to leave the failures of last year behind
§ to correct past faults of character, word and action
§ to seek forgiveness from others and from God
§ to learn from past mistakes
§ to begin to love God and others more fully
§ to be more active in our prayers to the Father
§ to repair broken relationships
§ to depend on God for our eternal future
§ to be a responsible father, mother, son, daughter, husband, wife, and friend
§ to clear our conscience and maintain a good one
§ to read and study God sword with greater fervency
§ to develop a more intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ

God Promises for 2017.

God Promises for 2017. God promises us an abundant life, but we can’t have abundance unless we position ourselves in the greatness of God. The Bible “says that without a vision the people perish (Proverbs 29:18).” We must have a vision of the greatness of God and pray to be God-focused rather than self-focused. If we are God-focused we can walk in true freedom. Then we can walk every day with a greater vision of what God is like, what He is saying, and what He can do.

• God wants to position you in the greatness of God. He wants to give you a new belief and expression of the power of prayer in your own life. He wants to give you a new freedom in your walk with Him. God is preparing you. He wants to impart to you new life. His training is supernatural training. You and I are in the process of becoming. We are changed from glory to glory as we grow into a Christ-like person.

• Are you desperate today in some area of your life? Do you have questions where there are no answers but God? He uses ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances to show His mighty power. When you are desperate, you are in the prime place to shift into the greatness of God. Your impossibility opens the way for the possibilities of God –
• You may have lost your hope and think that there is no one who understands your situation. God understands.

• Positioning Yourself in God's Greatness
• "God is big enough to take care of your smallest need."

God write your story

Pastor Eduardo Alves was in a blessed service at Ministerios Adoracion church:

God write your story
“Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” John 21:25 (NIV)

Every story is unique and each story — including yours — is important to God. And this is our promise: Brokenness does not have to be the final chapter.

He rewrites.
Begin to imagine what you will look like in the hands of your Savior. This opens the door to hope. It places the pen in God’s hand, instead of the past, a person or a feeling.
It changes your question from, “What’s wrong with me?” to “What miracle does God want to perform in me?”

We receive.
He came for you. That’s the good news found in Luke 4:18-19: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord”s favor” (NIV).

Jesus is not afraid of our brokenness. It was on His heart the day He transitioned from deity to walk the earth on our behalf. Hold out to His hands. Throw open the doors that so carefully guard your pain.

We all rejoice.
Healing won’t take place overnight. Instead it’s an exquisite process where God peels away layer by layer. But as you heal, something profound begins to take place.
You become an integral part of the good news described in John 21:25, our key verse. Your story spills into the pages eternally describing the power of Jesus to mend a broken heart.
2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!
And for that, we all rejoice.

Dear Jesus, thank You that newness is pouring into my life. I open my heart, my thoughts, my past and my broken places to Your touch. Thank You that You are writing a new chapter in my story beginning today. I praise You because the power of the cross is not in what I’ve done, but in what’s already been done for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

If they ask you how your faith is? It's growing up!

Pastor Eduardo Alves was in blessed service full of the presence of the lord at Ministerios Adoracion church:

If they ask you how your faith is? It's growing up!
"2 Thessalonians 1: 3 We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as he is worthy, because your faith is growing, and the love of each and every one of you abounds with others:" As believers we are called to Grow in faith. This growth is an essential part of the Christian walk. The Bible itself teaches us that "without faith it is impossible to please God" (Hebrews 11: 6). The apostle Paul speaks to us in his second letter to the Thessalonians and tells us that his growth in "faith" is a reason to give thanks to God (II Thessalonians 1: 3). So as we see, we can understand that faith is an ingredient not only necessary but primordial in the life of the believer who wants to please God in his life.
What is Faith? The writer to the Hebrews most clearly speaks to us about what Faith is. "Faith is the surety of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11: 1). Therefore if we meditate on this verse, we can conclude that faith as to what is expected or not seen is:
• Secure Security
• Safe Hope
• Total conviction
• Although in the Bible the Word of Faith is applied to doctrine or teaching from a general point of view as seen in Ephesians 4: 5, it says: "One Lord, one Faith, one baptism." Jude 3, "faith given to the saints". Also in Colossians 1:23 tells us: "If you really stand and stand firm in the faith." In this case we will be emphasizing the Faith that every believer has demonstrated from the beginning and that is necessary for the spiritual life.
Different Types of Faith
* Natural Faith or human This faith is the one that comes from the experiences in our daily life. For example a person who works does so because he trusts that the payday will receive his full pay.
* Emotional faith in the gospel
It is one that causes an initial joy to hear the gospel but does not last. Die when affliction comes and persecution dies. It does not last, it does not remain. Matthew 13:20
* Unfruitful Faith (Death)
It is faith that does not bear fruit because the eagerness of life drowns it, it does not live by the Holy Spirit and although it can remain alive for a longer time, its fruit is not seen. Matthew 13:21
* True faith
Biblical faith is defined in greater terms. While human faith works according to the circumstances that surround us, Biblical faith is security and its work reflects the results that are expected even without seeing previous evidence. Hebrews 11: 1.
The "true faith" is one. The believer does not have many different types of faith, but a faith that acts in different areas of his life.
Ephesians 4: 5 tells us that it is one faith, common to all believers, and although this applies to the truth of the gospel, we can apply it to the faith of every believer. God is a God of unity, he is one God. Deuteronomy 6: 4, however through the study of the Word, we see that it is made manifest eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The believer has a faith, proof of this is Colossians 2: 4-7, the faith that one day served to save, now serves to walk in Christ and to wait for His coming. In Romans 1: 17- "... in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed by faith and for faith." Working in Faith, we grow in Faith- We are called to work in our faith, Growing and strengthening in it, working so that we can grow in it.
Faith does not have to be great for it to work God gives us the 'measure of faith' we need.
