Pastor Eduardo preached: The connection of faith in God The connection between faith in God and faith in his promise will become clear to us if we consider what faith really is. It is often compared to the hand or the mouth, so we take and use what we have been given.

It is to my knowledge that the promise is that faith in the promise depends. Since God is One, nothing happens by accident; remove the veil of nature that masks His presence and you will find God behind the curtain. Keep your eyes open and ask your family and friends to share their best stories of Divine providence with you.

I have to listen to the person who gives me the promise because the tone of his voice gives me courage to believe. "So faith is by hearing, and hearing, by the word of God.", Romans 10:17.

But it is important that we understand that faith is also the ear, that we can hear what was promised and the eye through which we see what is offered. The ability to drink depends on it.

I have to see it because the light on his face melts all my doubts about my right to take. The value of a promise depends on the promising. Christian faith is not blind faith, it is a confirmed, proven and manifested faith through Christ; although we are taught in the Bible to have confidence in what we do not see (Hebrews 11: 1), what we do not see are the promises of God, which the ancient men of God trusted and because of them they were able to do big things; likewise, by trusting and obeying God rather than men, these promises will be fulfilled unfailingly also in our lives. It is seeing it by faith with the spirit.

I have to believe it. The people you love most are the people you trust most, and vice versa. Think of something that worries you, that generates fear and anguish — be it financial pressures or the results of a medical exam — and lets go of fear and trusts God. "Throw your burden on God and he will sustain you" (Psalms, 55:22). Try to feel that God is behind you. He is aware of your difficulty. He has the power to help you and wants to help you. Nothing is too big or too small for Him. So stop worrying; everything will be fine. God did not abandon you; He is here holding you by the hand.

To have faith in God, is first to believe that it exists and then to believe what you have said. The Bible says: "Hebrews 11: 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God; for it is necessary that he who approaches God believe that He exists, and that he is a reward for those who seek Him." In short, faith is to have conviction, to be convinced of something or someone. Faith makes us believers, makes us children of God, makes us saved, faith is our connection with Christ Jesus.

Take courage and move on! Never lose your faith in Jesus. He is the only one who can help you.

Renew your Covenant/ Renovar tu alianza.

Alliance with the people, being "The People of the Alliance" is the essential definition of Israel. His relationship with God, who has chosen him as "The People of his property" is the reason for his existence through the centuries to the present day. “The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord did not make this covenant with our parents, but with us, with all those of us [a] who are alive here today. ”Deuteronomy 5: 2-3

But despite God's faithfulness and the fulfillment of his covenant promises, Israel has gone from faithfulness to infidelity; from forgetting God and sin in return to the Lord; from continuous renewal of alliance to rupture of the same. But God's plan to save man cannot fail, there will remain a small "rest" and with them God will seal a new Covenant.

The clauses of the covenant of God with his people, consisted not only of having no other god, nor only in the Ten commandments; Exodus 20,2-17, but in all the legislation found in the five books of the Law, which is the relationship of fraternity, love, justice, law, mercy, compassion and help for all the "brothers of Israel." That is why the claims and denunciations of the prophets of all times against all the social classes of the people condemning oppression, injustice against the poor, the weak, the widows, the orphans, the outsiders. Jeremiah 32,32-33. Theft, bribery, murder, violence and dispossession. "Thus you have broken my alliance with all your abominations." Ezekiel 44.7.

The Alliance supposes the Election; (God chooses a people to make an alliance with him) and the election is the fruit of God's free love, hence a "Consecrated People". The Love of God is the beginning, the source and source of the covenant with the people of Israel. God Loves, chooses and consecrates in Covenant and He never fails because He is eternally faithful.

Jesus establishes the new and definitive covenant sealed with his sacrifice, giving himself for men. She is celebrated in the communion, memorial of the new and eternal union of God with humanity. (Mark 14,14; 1 Corinthians 11,25; Lc 22,20).

Alianza con el pueblo, ser  “El Pueblo de la Alianza” es la definición esencial de Israel. Su relación con Dios, que lo ha escogido como “El Pueblo de su propiedad” es la razón de su existir  a través de los siglos hasta el día de hoy.  “El Señor nuestro Dios hizo un pacto con nosotros en Horeb. 3 No hizo el Señor este pacto con nuestros padres, sino con nosotros, con todos aquellos de nosotros[a] que estamos vivos aquí hoy.” Deuteronomio 5:2-3

Pero a pesar de la fidelidad de Dios y del cumplimiento de sus promesas de Alianza, Israel ha ido de fidelidad a infidelidad; de olvido de Dios y pecado a retorno al Señor; de renovación continua de alianza a ruptura de la misma. Pero el plan de Dios para salvar al hombre no puede fracasar, subsistirá un pequeño “resto” y con ellos Dios sellará una nueva Alianza.

Las cláusulas de la alianza de Dios con su pueblo, no consistieron solamente en no tener otro dios, ni únicamente en los Diez mandamientos; Exodo 20,2-17, sino en toda la legislación que se encuentra en los cinco libros de Ley, y que es la relación de fraternidad, amor,  justicia, derecho, misericordia, compasión y ayuda para todos los “hermanos de Israel”. Por ello los reclamos  y denuncias de los profetas de todos los tiempos contra todas las clases sociales del pueblo condenando la opresión, la injusticia contra los pobres, los débiles, las viudas, los huérfanos, los forasteros. Jeremias 32,32-33. Robos, sobornos, asesinatos, violencia y  despojo. “así  habéis roto mi alianza con todas vuestras abominaciones´´. Ezequiel 44,7.

La Alianza supone la Elección;  (Dios elige un pueblo para hacer alianza con él) y la elección es fruto del amor gratuito de Dios, de allí resulta un “Pueblo Consagrado”. El Amor de Dios es el principio, la fuente y manantial de la alianza con el pueblo de Israel. Dios Ama, elige y consagra en Alianza y El nunca falla porque es eternamente fiel.

Jesús establece la nueva y definitiva alianza  sellada con  su sacrificio, entregándose por los hombres. Ella es celebrada en la comunión, memorial de la nueva y eterna unión de Dios con la humanidad. (Marcos 14,14; 1 Corintios 11,25; Lc 22,20).

Christ lives in us, Cristo vive en nosotros

Christ lives in us from the moment we were saved, however, His desire is to form in us in a definite way. Day after day we need to give Christ the opportunity to form in us. As we do so, Christ can fully express Himself through us in our daily lives.

Cristo vive em nós

Cristo vive em nós desde o momento em que fomos salvos, no entanto, Seu desejo é formar em nós de uma maneira definida. Dia após dia, precisamos dar a Cristo a oportunidade de formar em nós. Ao fazê-lo, Cristo pode se expressar completamente através de nós em nossas vidas diárias.

Jesus is coming - Am I ready? The most important question anyone can ask .To know whether you are ready there must be an interaction of faith with God's Word. What does "ready" mean in terms of God's message to believers? What is required to make someone ready for Jesus coming? And, how does one know that he/she is ready for His coming for it to be a personally glorious event?

To be ready, of course, requires initial salvation. Do I know Jesus Christ as my personal Savior? "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life" (John 5:24).

The word "ready" in terms of Jesus' return is shown to be a watchful state in Luke 21:36, as follows: "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." Watching, in reference to the signs of the end given in the chapter of Luke 21 (also, in its parallels, Matthew 24 and Mark 13), implies knowing the signs, recognizing them as they take place, and warning Christians of the time. Luke 21:28 says, "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Salvation is an ongoing process, as well. He describes the testing of one's faith as a process that is "of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire." If the testing of faith is to be compared to the refining of gold, then faith's refining by trials occurs so that "your faith. . .may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed" (1 Peter 1:7).

The final result of salvation will be the redemption of the body. Paul says, ". . .We wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies" (Romans 8:23). This, he explained, would happen when Jesus appears in the rapture. "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
