God gives the growth. “I planted, Apollos watered; but God has given growth ... ”(1 Corinthians 3: 6)
One of the most incredible truths found in the Gospel of the Kingdom, refers to the way growth takes place. The Gospel is a message of growth. From the moment we are born again, growth is working in us and available to us. God wants there to be growth (blessing) in our lives on every level, spirit, soul and body.
“And he who gives seed to him who sows, and bread to him who eats, will provide and multiply your seed, and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10)
What is your foundation?
The foundations are the foundations of our life and our faith on which we build and build who we are. Your values, your principles, your concept of right and wrong, your level of righteousness, morality and honesty, all these concepts are part of your foundations but still these are built on the first of all your foundations: your faith.
"And may the Lord make you grow and abound in love with one another and with all ..." (1 Thessalonians 3:12)
God provides the materials and we will
Paul after explaining that the foundation must be Jesus Christ and on this we must over-build our lives.
No matter what area of life is spoken, God is interested in growth. The fundamental truth that must be understood is that of the seed. Everything is seed. Everything that has and can be seen as a seed has the potential to be a crop. Once a seed is sown, whether it be a seed of thought, a seed of the Word, a seed of action or a seed of resources, God has created the universe to make that seed multiply. God gives the growth.
