God's food

God's food.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4: 4

These truths fill the soul with vigor, peace and joy. They renew the mind and sanctify the life. They lift the spirit into the presence of God and shape it in the likeness of Christ's character.

They are pure, powerful, heavenly, spiritual and divine words. They inspire good feelings and purposes.

When our conversation deviates from the divine standard we are in grave danger, for it is by our words that we are condemned or justified.

The mouth speaks of the fullness of the heart. Our conversation reveals what we really are within ourselves. Futile words come from a futile heart. Bitter words from a bitter heart. Impure words, from an impure heart.

Then by the filth of speech one knows the filth of our interior. We need the washing of cleansing by the Word of God, that our hearts may be made a fountain from which blessing and edifying words may come.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; He that cometh to me shall not hunger; and whoever believes in me will never thirst.

John 6:35

The word of God is: A lamp to my feet and a light to my ways. Psalm 119: 105 The word of God is the support of your life, the support of your family.

Joshua said my home and I will serve the Lord. He decided that the support of his family would be to serve God, the word of God.

The only refuge for your life is God is his word. He is the shield that protects you from sin, from the deadly arrow that has taken many lives in this world.

Many people have neglected the church, despised the word of God. But those who do so have suffered when they reap the fruit in their lives.

We reap everything we sow. We don't expect a good crop if we don't plant well. We will reap the rewards of what we are planting in 2020.

What are you going to plant? How are you going to plant? What will it be? My brothers, be careful and careful about this, because it is serious business. That depends not only on next year 2020, but the rest of our lives, much more than that depends on our life after death, in the future!
