2016 Recovering the Lost



In 2016 Recovering the lost 1 Samuel 30: 1-31
INTRODUCTION: All you ever have lost something, I know it's not easy to face a situation like that David and his men lived, because not only lost their homes, their belongings, their livestock all they had had lost, but none of these were as valuable as the family, they have lost their wives and children, had reason to mourn as they did, how much is the family? They wept until they had no forces, although this group of men known as David's mighty men, fierce men in war, none of them, for all that they are men of flesh and blood like everyone else, are beings human feeling, who has a heart to love.
Why David and his men lost their families?
• Being far house
• Being in a war that was not theirs
• His family was desprotegía
What hiso David to get his family?
1. David encouraged himself in the LORD his God v.6
to. It is good to know that tough the problems we have a God who strengthens us
b. David was God, it was not another place, he will not refuge in alcohol, did not on drugs, not sought refuge in a brothel or witchcraft, David encouraged himself in the Lord his God
c. He did not change God, otherwise I grabbed his God

2. David took the garments of PRIEST (V.7)
to. The Bible teaches us that he has made us kings and priests. (1 Peter 2: 9)
b. As a priest have a responsibility before God
c. The priest at the altar intercede for people, but at this place for family
3. David asked God (V.8)
to. No consult letters
b. Not consult the stars
c. Not consulted the soothsayers
d. Do not consult witches
and. David inquired of the Lord your God, bless the Lord

4. DAVID MAKES TWO QUESTIONS TO GOD (V.8)
to. I will pursue these bandits?
b. Will I overtake them?
c. It is good to know the will of God to make

5. DAVID RECEIVED A WORD OF GOD (V.8)
to. God said to follow them
b. The will of God was that David's chase
c. The will of God was that David recovered his family and belongings
d. The word of God was clear, for certainly reach And rescue captives.


CONCLUSION: God wants us to recover what was lost, but we can not recover unless he first thing we want and what we value. David loved his family so I fought to recover, not only recovered the family his but that of his men, but with families as well recover the goods, today it is time to recover the lost come to the altar and ask the Lord to help him catch up.
