Priorities

Pastor Eduardo Alves was leading worship service at Ministerios Adoracion church:

Priorities
The pace of our life often takes priority over the most important things God wants us to focus on. Matthew 6:33 ”33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
THERE ARE CHOICES THAT MAY LEAD TO SHORT-TERM HAPPINESS

God warns us to take a good look at our priorities.
a) Making ourselves #1 doesn’t bring contentment.
b) He directs this warning to people who live only for themselves:
c) Haggai 1:5-7 “5Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it." 7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.” New International Version (NIV)
On Judgment Day I believe God will check on at least these three measurable priorities during our lifetime:
#1—Our schedule and priorities
What do we spend most of our time doing? For whom?
*Charles Francis Adams, a 19th century politician and diplomat, went fishing with his son one day. His son Brook Adams kept a diary in which he wrote, “Went fishing with my father—the most wonderful day of my life!” His father, Charles also kept a diary in which he wrote: “Went fishing with my son today—a day wasted.”

*The founder of McDonalds, Ray Kroc, was asked by a reporter about his order of priorities. He said, “I believe in God, my family and then McDonalds.” Then he added, “When I get to the office, I reverse the order.”
You see there is difference in what you say and what you do! How much of your time do you give to God?
#2—Our spending.
Would we be embarrassed if God saw what we bought and how much and how we spent our lives?
-Our checkbook is a record of what our priorities are in life.
-Our spending reveals our priorities.
-Preparing us for the Final Exam, Jesus counsels us, Matthew 6:19-21 “19Don’t store up treasures on earth! Moths and rust can destroy them, and thieves can break in and steal them. 20Instead, store up your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy them, and thieves cannot break in and steal them. 21Your heart will always be where your treasure is.” Contemporary English Version (CEV)
#3—Our speech.
-We will be judged by our words.
-Do spiritual things excite us or do they bore us?
-o test the condition of our heart Jesus says, . Luke 6:45-46 “45Good people do good things because of the good in their hearts. Bad people do bad things because of the evil in their hearts. Your words show what is in your heart” Contemporary English Version (CEV)
-Our words show what condition our heart is in!
WHAT CHOICES LEAD TO LONG-TERM JOY?
1. People say, “I want to be happy.”
a) Did you know, happiness depends upon chance “happenings?”
b) Happiness is based on circumstances and on chance.
c) Happiness is external.

2. Joy is internal.
a) God is the source of deep, satisfying joy.
a) One of the names for God in Psalms 43 in the Hebrew Bible is El Simchathgali.
b) The name literally means “I am the God of exceeding joy.”
c) Psalm 43:4 says, I am the God of overflowing, abundant joy. I will go to the altar of God, to God--the source of all my joy. New Living Translation (NLT)
d) Deep, satisfying joy comes from a good relationship with God.

Experience God's Will

Experience God's Will

The term "acceptable" means "pleasant". Some people say that they believe that God is good, but they can not practice. They feel that this does not suit your character. This is low levels of comfort or welfare. Either way, the Bible teaches that God's will is acceptable. Who better to know what suits your needs that he who created you and gave you life?

Excellence of the Will of God
"Perfect" means complete, lacking nothing. Following God's will you will never reach a cul de sac. to begin the will of God will take a lifetime for you to fail and leave you lost without knowing what follows. God's will is complete without nothing lacking.
When you think to follow God's plan for your life, a plan that is good, pleasant and nothing lacking; because being afraid? How to get bored? How to become confused?
When you seek God's will, His purpose for your life, it is crucial to fully understand that God's will is good, acceptable and perfect.

Discovering God's Will ...
In Jonah 1:13 “ we read word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amitai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; because its wickedness has come before me. But Jonah rose up to flee from the presence of the Lord to Tarshish ...”

In this passage, we see Jonah fleeing from the presence of the Lord; Jonah was actually really running away from God's will. When he fled, Jonah went down to Joppa a ship looking out for Tarshish. There he found a ship that was exactly where he wanted. Notably, Jonah had just the amount of money the passage; this must be the will of God! You have heard of someone who had just the right amount of money for something? His reason, "Oh, God supplied the money, it must be his will." Jonah boarded the ship, the ship went to sleep. If Jonah had peace, this must be the will of God. If we count Jonah's life, there is only one problem; Jonah disobeyed God's direct command.
Today many people are convinced herself that they are doing the will of God and have some of the same arguments as, "The circumstances were favorable." "The ship was there." "I had just the right amount of money. "I felt such a peace that went to sleep" .Jonás was out of the will of God because he disobeyed God's command.

God's will is revealed in the Word of God. If you want to find the will of God opens the Bible!

Delighting in the will of God
Anyway; God does not do things in parts. His ways are understandable, involving the three: intellect, emotion and will; all channeled through the Word of God. The Problem of Jonah was disobeying the Word of God.

The final appearance in the know and do the will of God, is delighting in what he gives you to do. In Ephesians 6: 6, the Apostle Paul wrote ... Not with eye service, as men pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of the heart of God.

I fear some people who do the will of God only intellectually and not your heart. It was Jonah to Nineveh? Yes, he did eventually, but he went with his head, not his heart.

You can not delight in God's heart but you do. The way to do heart is convincing yourself once and for all that God's will is good, acceptable and perfect.

Directions

Directions
One of the things most crave is to have steps to discern the will of God. If you were given a role and I asked you to describe God's will, what would you write? God's will is an essential part of the walk of a Christian; an aspect that every believer must strive to understand. In Romans 12: 1 we read these words, So brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living, holy and pleasing sacrifice to God which is your reasonable service.

These three misconceptions we take when looking for direction for our lives:

1. We search other tips that direction we should take
2. We take our own direction same knowing they are wrong.
3. Being confused, in doubt about which direction to take.
These three misconceptions about seeking a direction arise from a wrong perspective. Because of these false perspectives, it is that people are fearing, fleeing and fighting against God's will.

Why they are frightened by God's direction?
To the extent that you consider God's will, you will see that it is an issue where there are many different opinions ... For example, some people are fearful when they consider the will of God and see it as a tremendous cloud over their heads. They contemplate God as severe and even sadistic. what they have is fear of God and think that if they.
Young people often think they can not trust God concerning his future life. They fear that following God's direction will be losing their youth, not enjoying the good life.
Others are bored with God's will. They see it as something dull and trite. They want adventure and are determined to make their own choices.
There is another group of people who are confused about the will of God. For them it is a great extremely difficult puzzles; They are simply confused
In Romans 12: 1 Paul says, "I pray (I beg you) by the mercies of God, (for all that God has done for you) that ye present your bodies a living, holy, acceptable sacrifice to God, which is your spiritual worship rational "(that is the only reasonable way to praise God). Then in Romans 12: 2, he talks about what and how we think: Do not be conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, to prove what is the will of God, acceptable and perfect . (English version) At the conclusion of this verse Paul is directed to the will of God

The essence of God's Will you aware that the concept of "good" comes from God? We read in Mark 10: 18 ... Jesus said to him: Why do you call me good? No one is good, but only one God. "Good" is a characteristic of God! James 1: 17th says, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.
One of the games that Satan likes to play with people is to make them think that God is not "good". When the snake confronted Eve, before the fall of man told Eve that God did not want them to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Satan was attacking the character of God saying that He really is not "good". I wish your personal experience you have come to know that God is good. The mistake of being fearful, bored or confused with the will of God is that we fail to see that the will of God is good because God is good!

The Valley Psalm 84 "Being and Staying in God brings blessings and spiritual growth" The wonderful thing when we develop intimacy with God, it is not only being but remain in the presence of God. It is something that can not be explained with words, but experience.

Maybe you started your day, with faith, but since then come the fears of lack of money, fear of others, rebellious children, problems at work, are the winds and waves that want to divert your faith in God, the valley of struggle and see it as difficult as you can get out of this difficulty. If you keep trusting God view will win, if eyes down and you just go with obstacles, discouragement or despair, will cost you see your miracle

Be and remain in the presence of God it leads to a new spiritual dimension
1. The true personal fulfillment is to remain in God, in His Presence (v. 4) "Blessed are those who dwell in your house; Perpetually they will praise you. Selah "
2. Our strength in all circumstances depends on God (v. 5) "Blessed is the man who has his strength in you, in whose heart are thy ways."
3. When you have been in the Presence of God, we yearn to stay with Him (v. 5b) "Blessed is the man who has his strength in you, in whose heart are thy ways.
They see God in Zion. "
4. You searches prayer (v. 8) "Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; Listen, O God of Jacob. Selah "
5. Take all your needs to God (v. 9) "Behold, O God, our shield, and look upon the face of your anointed"

God shows his kindness and protection to those who are and remain in the Presence of God
1. Who is and remains in the Presence of God, through adversity (v.5) “Passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; When the rain fills the pools.”
2. The adverse circumstances and obstacles not due to those and remains in the Presence of God (v 7.) “will go power in power;”
3. Find Protection in God (v. 11) "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. 11 For a sun and shield is the Lord God; Give grace and glory the Lord. It will not remove the good from those who walk uprightly. "
4-. God blesses those who trust in Him (v. 12) "Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you."

Conclusion:. Be and remain, they are two different things, because who was he may not have been in the presence, but who has his heart certainly enjoy this Stay. Today is the day to make a decision that mark your life forever and allow him to develop constant intimacy with God.

Be Sour or be Happy?

Be Sour or be Happy? Philippians 1: 12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters,[a] that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard[b] and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.

Most people don't enjoy life; they just endure it.
• They think that life must be perfect for them to be happy.
• So they are always looking for a change for the better. If I could just change my situation life would be great. If I could just get rid of all my problems, life would be fine.
• But there's no such thing as a problem free life.

If you're going to learn to be happy, joyful, you must learn to be joyful in the situation, in the problems, in the very experiences of life.
"Happiness" comes from the root word that we get “happening”, from the circumstances.
• Joy is internal. Happiness is external. You have a happy time at Disneyland, you leave and you lose your happiness. Joy can be constant.
• How do you have joy in spite of what is going on in your life?
We can be joyful in all circumstances, by adopting a right perspective, set the right priority, lean on the power of God, and focus on the purpose of life.

14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.
Amazing, everything that is considered bad (from the human perspective) and turned out to be good (in God’s perspective)!
• This is the attitude we must adopt. This is the perspective you need to live from, if you are going to have joy in your life.
• Roman 8:28 sums up this principle: “And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love Him...”
When things get tough, I need to be clear what is really important and what is not.
I want to distinguish the trivial from the significant.
I decided to be Happy! Happiness is a decision not a situation
• You can live your life bored down by trivial matters (usually the problems), or be driven by the significant things of life (the matters of great priority).
• Either you decide what's important in your life or you let other people decide what's important.
• If you don't choose your priorities, you'll go around putting out one fire after another, living your life simply from problem to problem, to problem and not choosing what's important.

18 But what does it matters? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19 for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.[c] 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

• LESSON: God has a purpose behind every one of my problems. Get this and let joy fills your heart.

The best is yet to come

Pastor Eduardo Alves was in a blessed service at Ministerios Adoracion church, a inspirational word for this days.

The best is yet to come
God has everything ready, the Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." God prepared everything in advance, when you walk into your presence, your destiny is appearing before you. Many times we see our future and not think we can rise to the difficulties. Ecclesiastes 9:11, "I returned, and saw under the sun, that is neither light of the race, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor riches to the wise, nor the eloquent the favor; but time and chance happen to them all. ".
Keep walking with God, for He has it all figured out. The problem is that we see this life with the natural eye, but the Bible says that we see by faith and not by sight. I mean that if I can believe it before having it, I will. The tarantula has 8 eyes, but she does not look good, however it is the best hunter, what happens is that your legs are very sensitive and can feel that something is, before seeing it. So it is with us. In the natural we see our impossible dreams,
but within your spirit, feel that somehow is going to happen. I can not explain it, but I feel that something awful will happen.
If you want to win and win, look good and not evil. Everything that you look off your spiritual sensor, start listening to your Spirit. God speaks to your spirit not your mind. Start thinking and declare different. Reason and turns off the sensor. Often by circumstances our sensor goes off. I believe God will open a new door.
This is not your end, it's your first, best things come. What was your life is simply that God will replace it with something better. It is not a goodbye, it is the beginning of something good. The Lord has everything prepared for you. God says you go in peace, that will give you rest in the midst of affliction. Do not let anything turn off your sensor.
These are moments of favor, all you have to do is believe and grow in faith. God lined up solutions to every problem, the right people and ideas. Stop living and start living worried grateful. The Bible says in 1 Kings, that Elias is close to King Ahab after three years of drought tells him comes a torrential rain. You can have three years of illness, but I see that you will be healthy, you can be in the midst of debts but I see that you will be prosperous. I do not walk by sight, FE way. God begins small, big ends.
I will prophesy what we found in Ephesians 3:20, "Now to Him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." God will not some, but all the more abundant things according to the power that works in you and me. This will be the year of your, bigger than you have imagined divine destiny. You'll see answer to all your prayers. I feel that the promises which have requested and are on their way. They come abundance of good wages, wisdom and business. God's favor is upon you.
I already did my part, now you believe and states. Those who are sick say, I'm better every day, God is renewing my youth. It comes a torrential rain on your life. People who criticize you walk in the natural and your My faith is not based on things, but in God. I'm not dragged, I'm blessed! .¡I And my house we will serve the Lord !. I declare that your days Please come, and if you're not the best trained, your faith will promote you.
