God is an expert in reading tears

Pastor
Eduardo preached:
God
is an expert in reading tears.

Just as God told King Hezekiah, he tells each
of his children: "I have heard your prayer and I have seen
your tears" (2 Kings 20: 5, NASB).

God
is an expert in changing tears for smiles, sorrows for joys and problems for
blessings.

Sometimes we cry because the sorrows of life
have become chronic, they fill our lives as undesirable visits that do not go
away. On other occasions, we cry because some unexpected suffering comes like
lightning hurting our soul. And other times, we even cry and we don't know why;
Pain escapes all description and analysis.

For those who suffer, the message of the
Bible is not that they dry their tears. No, the Bible says that crying is part
of life in the valley, the valley of
tears.

Psalm 42: 3 My
tears have been my food day and night, while they tell me all day: Where is
your God?

The God of all consolation is attentive to
your crying. He collects all of our tears and puts them in his phrase (Psalm
56: 8, NASB).

“I
will make them screams of joy”
A few hours before Jesus was betrayed,
prosecuted, beaten and crucified, he told his disciples: “Truly, truly, I
tell you that you will cry and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will be
sad, but your sadness will become joy ”(John 16:20,
NASB). The sadness and the groan will flee. Your tears will
dry.

Sadness will lose its power. This was the
case with the disciples of Jesus, when a resurrection at dawn dissipated the
shadows of their hearts. And so it is for every child of God.

"I
will wipe away every tear"
Our crying can last a very, very long night.
As we cross this valley, we will be vulnerable to attacks of loss,
disappointment and death. But joy will come in the morning, when God transforms
this valley of tears into a city of eternal joy.

That day God Himself will bow down to each of
his grieving children and somehow dry his tears forever. "He will
wipe away every tear from his eyes, and there will be no death, no more grief,
no cry, no pain, because the first things have happened" (Revelation 21: 4, NASB)

A prophecy of the prophet Isaiah: Isaiah 25: 8 He will destroy death forever; the Lord GOD will wipe away the tears
of all faces, and will take away the reproach of his people from all over the
earth, because the LORD has spoken.

Revelation 7:17 for
the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs
of waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
