Put your eyes in Jesus

Pastor Eduardo preached: Put Your Eyes On Jesus
Fixing your eyes on Jesus is a warning to the Church of the Lord so that you do not get distracted by looking and paying attention to people and things that do not agree. Don't let the daily news, tasks and circumstances distract you from the truth by discouraging your mood. All that the world puts before your eyes are vanities with the purpose of discouraging you.
Hebrews 12: 1-2 “Therefore, we too, having around us such a great cloud of witnesses, let ourselves be stripped of all weight and the sin that beset us, and we patiently run the race that lies ahead, with our eyes on Jesus , the author and finisher of faith, who for the joy set before him suffered the cross, belittling the reproach, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. ”

Do not fix your eyes on people. Do not fix your eyes on religion or denomination to see if it agrees with the word of God. Never look away from Jesus, never look away from the Bible, never neglect your daily relationship with God, always be aware of his presence because this will keep you in constant communion with Him.

Having a close relationship with God in the person of Jesus through the work that the Holy Spirit does in the life of a child of God is essential to always be well informed and know how to discern whether what is received in doctrine is good or it is bad . To fix your gaze on Jesus is to practice prayer daily, being carried away by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
1 Timothy 1:14 But the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love found in Christ Jesus.

All he needs is in Jesus, in him the Father is pleased and the Holy Spirit is put into action to minister and supply his spiritual and physical life. In moments of weakness and weakness, continue believing even if you do not understand what is happening, and do not take your eyes off the Lord because in this attitude of faith is when you receive the promises and blessings.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the author of faith. He also says that faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10: 7) and that the word of God is Jesus (John 1: 1). So word and faith always go hand in hand.
