Something is broken inside you!

Pastor Eduardo preached today:  Something is broken inside you! When you feel broken inside, it's often because life has changed in a way that you don't like. Continuing our series of the new covenant.

Psalm 147:3 God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Easily the people who did not even find Jesus in their lives are always blaming someone for not having been happy, or not having succeeded, or not having peace. But will that be true? Is it the fault of the father, or the mother, the husband or the wife, or the children? Or the reason is that there is something broken inside you!

Hosea begins chapter 14:1 by saying, "Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, because of your sins you have fallen."

Turning to God involves some attitudes on our part. It is not enough to want, it is necessary to have attitudes before the Lord. Here are some attitudes left for us by Hosea:

1. “Have with you words of repentance” (v.2) - We must come to God with words of repentance. Repentance is the hallmark of God's life in us. A person who does not regret the mistakes he has made, possibly has never been born again or already has his understanding seared.

2. “Convert to the Lord” (v.2) - Conversion is a change of attitude, a change of direction, a change of path and a change of thought. To convert to the Lord is to walk against the world and sin.

3. “Tell him: forgive all iniquity” (v.2) - God has not changed his mind about the importance of confessing sins committed. .
But never forget the path of forgiveness, for the Lord is always with open arms to forgive, cleanse and restore us.

4. "We will give like the calves, the sacrifices of our lips" (v.2) - The sacrifices that we will give to the Lord, after our repentance and confession, will be the praises of the lips that confess His name. Sacrifices of praise are an expression of love for the Lord, which we bring before Him, even when there is no strength in us, or even when we have no desire to worship.
We love Him because He is worthy and not because we feel emotionally good to do so.

5. “… to the work of our hands we will no longer say: You are our God” (v.3) - To God we will always attribute the blessings received and we will not allow ingratitude to be part of our life, because only praise can move the heavens. All honor and glory will always be given to Him, only!
We’re talking about resurrection all the time. Did you know that the literal translation of ‘resurrection’ is, Arise? Basically, what I'm telling you is to resurrect, be arise of this dead life. It is TIME TO BE COMPROMISED WITH GOD, TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY WITH YOUR SALVATION! What we have learned from that pandemic is that life is very fragile and it goes like this in the blink of an eye. Fix your life, unlock the channel of blessing in his life.
