Pastor Eduardo preached :
Praise and pray to God or live in fear? 2 Chronicles 20: 6-9 Do you know who you are before God? Does your heart recognize the power of our Lord Jesus Christ during crises or wars?
In prayer we recognize and confess our limitations, understand what forces are useless in the face of the enemy's attacks, but by ASKING FOR HELP and HELP from the Lord, who is the only one who can listen and save us.
We live in times when man seeks to place his trust in science, in the economy, in yoga, in human spirituality, in the meditation of his inner self, trusts in his environment or internal forces, deceiving himself regarding his power and limitation, falsely believing that he can face war with his own forces, which are limited, imperfect, and insufficient, a mirage created for his own doom.

2 Chronicles 20: 6-9 and said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying, If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

In prayer we recognize and confess our limitations, understand what forces are useless in the face of the enemy's attacks, but by ASKING FOR HELP and HELP from the Lord, who is the only one who can listen and save us.

Prayer is a dialogue between God and his people. An intimate and personal dialogue between God and you. Therefore, prayer must be part of our life, in each of us we seek to establish dialogues with God daily, through prayer. King Jehoshaphat recognized where his help would come from, he was sure of this in his heart and he proclaimed it in this way, he knew who to turn to in times of crisis, who had control of everything, who had the power of everything and that by presenting ourselves Your children in tribulations God will listen to us. Jeremiah 17: 5 - Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and puts flesh on his arm, and his heart turns away from the Lord.Jeremiah 17: 7 - Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is Lord.

We cannot pretend as children of God, wanting to go to war, without first recognizing where my trust is, we are trusting by praying on the ROCK OF MY SALVATION, Jesus. This trust is daily, intimate and real; because the enemy will seek any moment to destroy you. In praying we are fighting in a spiritual world. In verse 9 If evil come upon us, or sword of punishment, or pestilence, or famine, we will appear before this house, and before you (because your name is in this house), and because of our tribulations we will cry out to you , and you will hear us and save us. Can you believe this? Can you live confident in this promise?.
